This ultimate Filipino summer treat, Halo-halo is a sure and delicious way to cool down. With the combination of shaved ice and many different layers of sweet beans, fruits and other treats then drizzled with milk. Let us not forget the toppings, leche flan, ube halaya or even ube ice cream.

Halo - Halo brings back my summer memories here in Bacoor,Cavite.

Because this is my mom's Business during summer and I and my kuya always ask for our mother to give us halo - halo. I tasted a lot of versions of halo - halo.I tasted it with Leche flan or Ice Cream on top but I prefer the ube on the top of halo - halo.This Filipino desssert also reminds me of my lola Ading I call her "Mami" ,I am always with her when I am was a child.That's why I love halo - halo.Hope you also try this too.Hope you enjoy :)
